NICO JONES, Fairley linebacker: A 6-1, 220-pound junior, Jones recorded 12 solo tackles (three of them for loss), two quarterback sacks and had a fumble recovery in Fairley’s 34-12 Region 8-4A win over Kingsbury last Friday, helping the Bulldogs improve to 8-2 overall.

Fairley Beats Kingsbury 34-12, Closes Regular Season 8-2
Posted in History on October 29th, 2006 by AndyThe Bulldogs beat Kingsbury 34-12 Friday night to finish the regular season at 8-2. From the Commercial Appeal:
Bulldogs top Falcons
Fairley overcame a fantastic night from Kingsbury’s Gabriel Hunter to pick up its eighth victory of the season.
Hunter ran for 205 yards on 39 carries, but never found the end zone.
Jamarcus Hines rushed for 133 yards for Fairley (8-2, 4-1 Region 8-4A), while teammate Jemarcus Robinson ran for a TD and threw for another.
Kingsbury (1-9, 1-4 8-4A) quarterback Greg Powell threw for a TD and ran for another.
The Bulldogs’ Deangelo Anderson scored touchdowns on a 14-yard run and a 28-yard interception return.
