Fairley Key to Blue Team Victory in All-Star Game

The Liberty Bowl High School All-Star game was played Saturday at MUS in the cold rain.  The Blue Team defeated the Red Team with the help of 3 Fairley seniors and a coach:

#8    Antoine Walker   Defensive Back

#15  Derrick Murrell    Wide Receiver

#60  Daniel Taylor       Offensive Line

Coach - Rahnmann Slocum

Congratulations to these guys for their selection to this team and an 18-15 victory over the Red Team.  The 8 year series is now even at 4-4.

Best of Preps Announced

Congratulations to the four Bulldogs who made the Commercial Appeal’s Best of Preps team:

MIAA 1A-2A-3A-4A TEAM
James Harmon, Fairley, sophomore
Daniel Taylor, Fairley, senior
Marcus Holliday, Fairley, sophomore
Derrick Murrell, Fairley, senior

Also making the team is former Fairley player Jarmarcus Hines, Hillcrest, senior.
